Wow! Where does the time go!

  I am going to restart my blog, I have not done anything with it for almost 2 years.  A lot has changed in our home! First off, we are now almost 2 years older. Princess Maggie, is almost 10, Prince Eli is almost 5, Prince James is 2 and now we have Princess River and she is just 5 months!  Amazing!  We have moved twice since I blogged and life is busy.   I am getting into Periscope and wanting to learn how to make money by blogging or something of that nature.  Not sure how.  Please let me know. Thanks so much!!!
I just figured out how to add pictures! :)

Also I am new to this! I want  to create things for my family, talk about failures, and most of all keep records of our journey in our lives!

New Day!

Sitting at night listening to music! I get so excited to see my children change and grow! My princess another tooth, now she is toothless on top! She sounds so stinking cute! :)  On the other side, the youngest is turning into a night owl.  My middle is talking more and more everyday! :)  It is still a little jumbled, but the sounds are coming through! Makes me happy.  :)  Well, tomorrow is a new day, we are starting our new curriculum. We took time off and did different things for school, now we are starting Heart of Dakota Bigger Hands for His Glory.  I am excited to see what she will learn this year. We will work on it for a while, take a break for July and then restart in August. I love the ability to teach my children!  What a joy to see them learn and do new things.

Difficult Choices

Good Evening another difficult choice for the Princess tonight.  I allowed her to have a friend over after her P.E. class today.  She asked her daddy if she could eat a few donuts.  He said sure, just a couple.  Now  thinking that the friend would eat some, he thought she was just going to eat a few. Well to our surprise, she ate the whole thing.  Wow, we were upset.  She went straight to bed, then I had to calmly talk with her about her choices and the consequences of those choices.  Is that how the Lord is with us? We over indulge in something and then we get disciplined for our actions.  That is tough.  Thank you Lord for an opportunity to parent in the good times and in the rough spots.

On a different page Prince #1 was worried as was Prince #2 about their big sister as she was so upset.  I love how at a young age my two boys love their sissy so much!  Thanks for reading.  Enjoy your night. :)

So the other day we were watching Saving Mr. Banks.  I really liked that movie, not for the reasons that most people would think, but it got me thinking how I could do a unit project on Mary Poppins by P.L. Travers.  Then it really got me thinking, you see we are going to be making some changes in my house.  We have a 2nd child going to start pre k this year and it got me thinking how the winds were going to change. Can my friends share with me how to blog and make money on the side.  I am not a great writer, but I have and idea.  I have a story that I tell to my kids and I intertwine character traits in them.  Do I share my story here? School is slowly get back started on that front we are making other changes as well.  Lots of things going on!  May you be blessed today!

Summer 2013 and other Ramblings!

Good Afternoon! I have not blogged in quite sometime! I must say this almost being the middle of July has flown by so fast! :)  We are busy this month, clean sorting and reorganizing our items in our small house and we are busy with playing with friends.  The princess is going to go to overnight camp in a little over a week and she is so excited!  Last week, my husband collided with a deer, so we are short a car. Bum!!!  But God is faithful! We are so glad!!!  :)  Planning for the 2013-2014 school year is under way.  We have a baby on the way due in September, so that is also keeping me tired, but busy.  We are blessed!!  We are busy with our co-op during the school year!

Unit 3 8-20 to 8-25

Ok, well, we had half of Unit 3 done before she left for her time with her Grandparents!  But now it is hard to get in the swing of things.  :)  We are starting unit four.  The hardest thing with unit 3 is that I needed to explain King James to her that was difficult.  She did a great job with her art this week and we enjoyed the game as well!  We are almost done with our biography, then we are reading the next book.

I do need to buy the book we need next, going to see if we can buy it on the kindle.  Maybe.  Ok, let's see, we also have a new job for my husband on the horizon! Super excited about that.  He is working for the competition of where he is working at currently. :)  We Praise God for providing the new job.

We are about to begin school, yep I know it is Saturday, but it what we do here.  Daddy works on saturday, so we do as much as we can!

Unit 2 July 30- August 2

End of Unit 2!  Wow! The princess did fantastic! She loved learning about the Colonists.  But most of all she loved the pictures and the craft project!  We are so fortunate to be apart of the HOD journey! So excited to see what happens next week! Love this opportunity! In our read aloud we are doing Gladys Alyward! She was an amazing woman! I have heard certain things about her, but haven't read her story!

Back to school on monday!
